I like #google reminders like these. Well on a serious note, if you are planning to trek in the summers, even if it is a day trek just keep these things in mind! 1. Hydration: Carry plenty of water to stay hydrated, especially in hot weather. 2. Sun protection: Wear sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to protect yourself from the sun. 3. Clothing: Choose lightweight, breathable clothing that covers your skin to protect against sunburn and insects. 4. Timing: Start early in the morning to avoid the hottest part of the day. 5. Rest breaks: Take frequent breaks in shaded areas to rest and cool down. 6. Plan routes with water sources: Ensure your route includes access to water sources for refilling your bottles. 7. Pack light: Carry only essentials to reduce the weight you need to carry in the heat. 8. Know the signs of heat-related illnesses: Be aware of symptoms like dizziness, nausea, and fatigue, and know how to treat them. 9. Choose shaded trails: Opt for routes that offer shade from trees or terrain features to escape direct sunlight. 10.
