Can Rakhi be black? I found this really cool black Rakhi, but I’m not sure if it’s appropriate. Can Rakhi be black, or is there some tradition that says it shouldn’t be? I don’t want to mess up any customs.

No if you are wanting to tie this on your brother's hand as it considered as auspicious symbol for safety and security ... consider Red, orange, yellow colours for this day.
