Loneliness can affect your mind in a lot of ways. We humans are social animal and we always seek for a social support. Due to increased amount of loneliness we start secreting lesser amount of oxytocin. And oxytocin is a happy hormone. Then next, our cortisol secretion increases. And cortisol also increases our stress. And with continuous stress we may experience hypertension. It will also lead to poor immune system plus our cognitive performance also decareses. But COTO provides a platform to connect with like minded people and share our woes. First of all @deeptikbchittoria this is a beautiful picture taken 😍 Secondly, yes this happens. Sometimes we do get flashbacks of some unpleasant memories when we spend time alone. Aur ye karna bhi zaroori hain. This is that time which helps us to understand which wounds haven't gotten healed yet. And then in the counselling sessions, we can talk about how to heal it.
