Any Advocates here? Someone has promised to build me a property on land that's in my name, as compensation for something wrong he did to me. He has agreed to sign a legal document for this. I should get a promissory note from him right? if so, will a Rs.100 stamp paper make this legally valid, or does it need to be a stamp paper of value that's a percentage of the property to be built? I really just want to valid document to hold him accountable but without spending. I'm tired and depressed.

A promissory note is a financial document which is executed when there is an underlying loan transaction or exchange of money. In your situation it seems like he is constructing your property because of some private issue between you both. A promissory note may not be the best way forward. Please seek appropriate legal advice.

Do you believe that women's empowerment is the root cause of rising divorce rate in India? Why? @Relationshipcoachchitkala
No...Women empowerment is not the root cause of divorce, and there are several reasons why:Making: Women empowerment promotes equality in decision-making within relationships, leading to better communication and understanding between partners, which can actually reduce the likelihood of divorce. Empowered women often have their own sources of income, reducing dependency on their spouses. This financial independence can contribute to healthier relationships as both partners have more autonomy and are not solely reliant on each other.Empowered women are more likely to pursue personal growth, education, and career advancement, which can enrich their lives and relationships. This pursuit of self-improvement can strengthen marriages rather than weaken them.Women empowerment encourages open communication and mutual respect in relationships, which are essential for resolving conflict maintaining a strong marital bond.

As a woman going through a divorce, I'm confused by the conflicting perspectives on which gender gets more negatively impacted. Men claim they get brutalized and screwed over, losing homes/assets/kids. But feminists argue women statistically suffer more financial/emotional hardship post-divorce. How can both views be valid? @RC_Mayanka
Hi! Hope you are well! Divorce in itself is a huge change irrespective of men or women. It's tough and painful for both. Both men and women lose out on specific things post a divorce. So, both the sides tend to suffer in different ways. The focus should be brought more on self and building up your confidence to take on any challenges head on. Try not to think about the negatives post a divorce shift your thoughts to the positives post your divorce. What are the things you can do, wanted to do for yourself. I feel like I don't fit into any of the stereotypes about women. Society tells us how to act, dress, and even think, but what if I don't check any of those boxes? Is it okay to be different, or am I doomed to be an outcast forever? How do we find our place in the world when we don't fit the mold?
Hello , There’s no definitive to true and real beauty these norms are just set by society. No bible or any mythological book tells if you don’t match the societal boxes you’re deviant or outgroup . Embrace yourself with confidence All the best 🌸

It's Neha. Feeling overshadowed by my more outspoken peers. How do you make your voice heard ? @Aartichawla
AskAarti11d
dear Neha this comes from our inate need of being heard and nothing is wrong there. first of all don't feel guilty about it. next work on your communication a bit to learn the art of communication. sometimes it's not what we say, its about how we say that matters. also look into this aspect- were you heard when you were a child? of not work on that inner child you can book a 1 on 1 session to heal this child in you . happy to help
Being assertive doesn’t mean to be outspoken ,whats needed is you speak when needed example knowing when to share your emotions, your needs, how actually feel rather than suppressing it, you will have to believe you have a “voice and opinion” which should be heard and valued then only you will be able to call them your friends
