A place where Mother's get gratification and create an identity of their own.
What should I do? Please help. My four-year-old daughter suddenly stuck while speaking. She repeats the first word louder again and again. Sometime she avoids talking. Instead started using her hands to communicate. I am very worried. @aktasehgal7004

She’s getting frustrated trying to find words she doesn’t have. Help her to calm down and have her try to describe what she’s trying to say. Children at this age are still learning how to express themselves in constructive ways, and it’s scary sometimes when you’re trying to communicate something and just can’t find the right words. The frontal cortex of her brain is still working on wiring itself for language. Speech therapy might help, but just talking to her and helping her learn how to slow down and take a few deep breaths when she’s freezing up will also go a long way to help her. Even if it is a speech or processing disorder, teaching her to slow down and take those deep breaths will help give her brain a chance to catch up to where she is. Definitely talk to her pediatrician about getting her evaluated for any speech or processing disorders. Therapy works, but works best the earlier it’s started.
