When you think about your health, what first comes to mind? For many – if not most – of us, it’s probably our physical health. Are we eating healthy? Are we exercising regularly? Are we feeling tired? Or ill? Do our joints ache? Have we scheduled our annual check-up?All these questions are, of course, important ones to answer, but there’s another question we should be asking – another part of our health that deserves attention: how is our mental health? Our mental health has a tremendous impact on our overall health and well-being. Our mental health includes our thoughts, emotions, feelings and moods. It influences our choices, actions and how we relate to others. Good mental health can help us cope with stress, succeed in our professional lives, more effectively recover from difficult situations and add value to our community and be our best self. It’s important to understand that maintaining good mental health can often be a challenge. So, if you are struggling to maintain good mental health, you are definitely not alone. It’s important to know that it is ok to speak up and ask for help if you’re suffering from a mental health condition .In addition to professional care, there are some steps you can take at home and in life to improve mental wellness :Take care of you bodyEat HealthyLearn A New SkillMake time for family and friendsEnsure that you’re getting enough sleepPractice deep breathingMeditate

Children with good mental health feel loved, safe and secure in their environments. They also feel happy and positive about themselves most of the time. They’re kind to themselves during tough times or when things don’t go the way they expect. This means they feel OK about trying new or challenging things. They enjoy life, learn well and get along well with family and friends. And they can manage sad, worrying or angry feelings and bounce back from tough times.

Young kids should be taught that mental health is as important as physical health. Teach them Practices like meditation early and tell them how it can help them succeed in all roles of their life

if you are so emotionally unwell what you do
First and foremost accept your emotion, identify it and name it. second, Know the reason. and then half of your work is done!!! Once you know your emotion and the reason behind you can easily deal with it,the way you want to. But never ever try to pacify or diverse your low mood without analysing it properly. Right from sorting it out with your own pattern to consulting a professional for the same .

You can consult a therapist. It would really help to cope with your emotions

Can you explain the concept of emotional hunger versus physical hunger, and how can individuals differentiate between the two to make healthier choices? @Sheema
1) Physical Hunger is when your body needs fuel because it's been a while since you ate your last meal. You might feel lightheaded or low on energy. Physical hunger can be satisfied by any type of food. 2) Emotional Hunger: This is when you feel like eating, but it's not because your body needs fuel. It's to satisfy your emotions, like stress, boredom, or sadness. In Emotional hunger you might crave specific comfort foods. To differentiate 1) think about how your body feels. Are you feeling physically hunger or growling stomach, Or are you just craving for a particular food and you are not physically hungry. 2) Emotional hunger comes on in response to triggers or emotions, like stress, boredom, or loneliness. 3) Mindful eating: Before eating, take a moment to ask yourself why you want to eat. Are you hungry or seeking comfort, By practicing mindful eating, you can become more aware of your body's signals and differentiate between emotional and physical hunger.

It’s important to take care of yourself and get the most from life. You need to be open about your problems. Communicate with your people and share your feelings. Catch up with your friends. Regular exercise can boost your self-esteem and can help you concentrate, sleep, and feel better. Exercise keeps the brain and your other vital organs healthy, and is also a significant benefit towards improving your mental health. What do you do in order to improve your mental health?
Anonymous-5d
I either listen to music or talk to someone in my family or my friends.
Anonymous-5d
For my mental well-being, I've adopted self-care routine and prioritize enjoying the present moment. I'm focusing less on worrying about the future and surrounding myself with caring individuals who uplift me. It's about nurturing myself mentally and emotionally to maintain a positive outlook and inner peace.
